Overview

This privacy policy applies to all data collected through the Electric Sidecar application.

Collection and Use of Personal Information

We do not collect, use, save, or have access to any of your personal or vehicle data recorded in Electric Sidecar. Your account credentials are stored securely on your device and are only ever used to initiate a direct authentication request with the service you choose to log in to, after which the app will use standard OAuth tokens to interact with the connected service.

App Analytics

To help us better understand how people use Electric Sidecar, we use event-based analytics information provided by Mixpanel. This provides us with some generic usage statistics that are completely anonymous and cannot personally identify you in any way. Mixpanel's privacy policy is available here. You can turn off data being sent to Mixpanel from the Settings page of the Electric Sidecar app.

APIs

Electric Sidecar connects with external services using APIs that require your consent and authorization to use. Please be aware that each of these services may have their own privacy policies, and your continued use of Electric Sidecar requires acceptance of those services' privacy policies as well.

Changes

If Electric Sidecar makes changes to any terms or conditions of this privacy policy, these changes will be posted on the site in a timely manner. We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time.
